2021 Pool Opens May 29!
The pool will be opening this year as we follow the COVID social distancing requirements for Virginia. Opening day will be May 29, 2021. The season ends September 6th.
Families will have two weeks to determine if the pool's implementation of current COVID requirements are acceptable. If the COVID restrictions are not acceptable you will need to request a refund within the first two weeks.
As of 3/23/21 the latest Amendment to Governor Northam's Executive Order is found at the below link. Sections referring to pool operations are found in Section A.5.F and Section D.2.
Here is the link for the document and below is the verbiage:
We determined our pool can accommodate a six to ten family groups with a total of 27 individuals (our occupancy is 35). The number of family groups will depend on the location of the families in the pool. Please realize the fluid nature of pool activities makes it impossible to regulate social distancing 100% of the time (pun intended). Members will need to monitor their families' impact on other members. The pool monitor will not be the COVID police. However, disruptive groups will be asked to leave the pool property if they cannot or will not control their activities affecting others.

Q. Will the attendant deal with disruptive members?
A. Yes. We have worked with Super Splashers to ensure the attendants are trained and empowered to handle disruptive behavior in an appropriate manner.
Q. Is there a limit on the amount of swimmers?
